Who we are

CERTI DRIVERS is a community racing project running Assetto Corsa and BeamNG.drive servers and this website. We are the controller of the data described here. Contact us through our Discord.

What we collect

Account details: username, email address and a hashed password.
Game identity: Steam GUID and in-game driver name.
Driving data: lap times, drift scores, trackday progress, and the server, car and track.
Server activity: connections, in-game chat and admin actions.
Technical data: IP address and standard server logs.
Cookies and local storage, set out in our Cookie Policy.

Why we use it

To run your account and our servers: performance of a contract.
To publish leaderboards and results: legitimate interest in running a competitive community. Your driver name and results are public on this site.
To prevent cheating and abuse, and to keep the servers secure: legitimate interest.

Sharing

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. It is handled by our hosting provider and the game servers themselves. We disclose data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Account details: while your account is open, and up to 30 days after deletion.
Lap times and results: kept as part of the community record unless you ask us to remove them.
Server and security logs: normally up to 12 months.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or provide it in a portable form. Ask through Discord and we will respond within one month. If you want your account deleted, tell us at the same time whether your lap times should also come off the public boards.

If you are unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Security and children

Passwords are hashed and admin functions are restricted to staff accounts. This site is not intended for under 13s; tell us if a child under 13 has registered and we will remove the account.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
